This past week has been real busy. I think that on Tuesday, I went to class, and then Kevin and I went to Wasteland to sell clothes and make money. Saw Jeff. Didn't know that he worked there. I'm not sure what I did Tuesday night, but I woke up feeling like hell for work on Wednesday. Blah, blah, blah. Wednesday night? Did Kody come over? I think so, yeah. I'm in a band now, young pilots. You can check us out at myspace.com/youngpilots. I'll be doing vocals, and we're going to record them onto the myspace tracks as soon as we buy a new mic. Thursday night, was Big Time at the Hammer Museum for Filter. I was suppose to help set up and all that, but I ended up getting stuck in traffic for 2 hours. Note to self: Don't take the freeway to the Hammer Museum, when you can just drive up Wilshire. Bleh. They screened the movie The Fall. It wasn't half bad, kinda odd though, and I'm not really sure if I was suppose to laugh at the parts that I did. Errr...Friday, Kody and I drove out to Venice to retrieve his hard drive, so we could start working on music. Got stuck in traffic then, too. Saw Kevin for a bit, I think. Went back to trying to make music. Slept. Saturday, it was Kevin and I's "shopping day", went to Wasteland, found nothing, went to a store in Sunset Junction bought this vintage "Yes" shirt I've wanted for a month. Went home, Kody came over, worked on some music, then Kenny and Johnny (who are also in young pilots) came over. Drank. Met up with Kevin. Drank. Went to Blow-Up L.A. Hid my flask in the bushes? They wouldn't let Kenny inside. We danced, the fuzz closed Blow-Up down, went home. The rest of the night was kinda weird. Sunday, did laundry and Kody came back over to work on music. Blah blah blah. Driving to Indio for Coachella on Thursday!!!
P.S. It's rumored that in 3 weeks 2/5ths of young pilots (Kody and me) will be playing a 5 song set at The Roxy in West Hollywood. So keep checking back for a set date.
